Events

The Stars Come Out annual charity event helps the Legacy Brain Foundation meet our goals of raising awareness while providing various support options to those affected by a brain tumor diagnosis. This is always an enjoyable evening of fun, fellowship, music, and fundraising for brain tumor patients and their families.  One of the many highlights of the evening is a live silent auction of items donated by individuals and sponsors.

We also host a Celebration of Life luncheon every spring to honor brain tumor survivors and their guests. Five and ten year survivors are given commemorative pins. The Jeannie Murphy Spirit Award is given to patients, caregivers, or an individual whose commitment to others demonstrates courage and compassion.

A newsletter is published twice a year to all members to provide information about upcoming activities, grant recipients, and medical news.
